Conflict-free Minerals Policy “Conflict minerals” are minerals produced in conflict-affected countries or regions where environmental destruction is in progress. Four minerals, including tantalum, were designated as 'conflict minerals'. Suppliers are advised to use only smelters that have obtained the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) verification announced by the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC). The Conflict Minerals Report (CMR) is to be submitted periodically.


In accordance with the conflict mineral regulation policy, QSI Co., Ltd. pledges not to purchase conflict minerals mined from mines that cause social problems related to human rights violations such as environmental destruction and labor exploitation.
